To figure out how much THC is in a dropper, you’ll take the total THC (given in milligrams, or mg on the package) and divide it by the volume of the tincture (given in milliliters, or mL). You can fine tune your dosage even more, knowing that there are 20 drops in one mL, meaning if you divide the mg of THC in 1 mL by 20, you’ll have the dosage of a single drop.

Here at Boojum, we love our cannabis drops! Our tinctures have a lot of benefits when it comes to delivering potent, effective, and long-lasting medicine. The downside is that dosing can be complicated for new patients, and requires a little math to be able to truly tailor to your customized dosing. Let us break down the formula so that you can figure out precisely how much THC is in a given amount of tincture.
For Boojum’s 15 mL tinctures, each bottle usually contains around 600 mg of THC, so each mL gives you 40 mg of THC (600/15=40). Since every mL equals 20 drops, each drop gives you about 2 mg of THC (40/20 = 2). Want less? A half-milliliter (0.5 mL) will deliver 20 mg, and a quarter (0.25 mL) gives you 10 mg. And for microdosing, one single drop delivers 2 mg of THC — perfect for precision dosing.
With Boojum’s 30 mL tinctures, each bottle usually contains around 300 mg of THC. Each mL delivers 10 mg of THC, and again, you’ve got 20 drops in each mL. One drop gives you about 0.5 mg of THC. Take 1 mL for 10 mg of THC, go for 0.5 mL for 5 mg, or dial it down to 0.25 mL for 2.5 mg. It’s always important to let your body adjust to the effects by starting low and going slow to find the perfect sweet spot.

Reminder, to take Boojum tinctures with food to speed up the onset time and wait at least 2 hours before increasing your dosage. Onset times are usually between 30 – 90 minutes but this does vary from patient to patient.
